TED-Ed Student Talks at Smith Collins Academy!

It's Official, Smith Collins Academy is now an Approved Program Leader and facilitator for TED-Ed Student Talks. We are so excited to help our students share "Ideas Worth Spreading".

TED-Ed is known around the world for spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks that cover almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.

“We believe there is a multitude of impact when students are asked about what they care about, are working as a group to develop ideas, and are invited to share those ideas in front of a larger audience.” TED-ED

Through this program, students develop 21st century skills, deepen their student-student and student-educator relationships, and are better prepared to advocate for the problems of today and the future. Students can research, develop, and share their ideas with their communities and the world. Nominated Student Talks can be shared globally through TED-Ed.
