Learning at Smith Collins Academy
At Smith Collins Academy, learning is dynamic, purposeful, and personal. Our interdisciplinary curriculum combines exploration, practical application, and academic mastery—empowering students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in school and beyond. We blend time-tested traditions with modern innovations to help students think critically, communicate effectively, and engage the world with confidence.

Foundation Stages

In our Early Learners program, young students grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively through interactive play and exploration, building a strong foundation in language, literacy, math, and logical thinking.
Language & Literacy

We prioritize all areas of communication: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Through activities such as rhetorical analysis, intercultural communication and public speaking, students develop essential literacy skills for effective communication and future success.
STEAM

STEAM brings Science, Technology, Arts, & Math to life with hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Students explore real-world applications of scientific concepts, develop critical problem-solving skills through technology, and foster creativity in the arts.
Our math program uniquely blends Common Core standards with the rigor & logic of Singapore Math, ensuring students build a strong conceptual foundation while mastering advanced problem-solving techniques.
Exploratory and Elective Courses

Students have the opportunity to dive deeper into their passions through a wide array of electives in areas such as science, arts, technology, business, and beyond. These courses allow students to broaden their skills, discover new interests, and gain valuable insights to guide their future academic and career paths. Our electives are designed to inspire curiosity, foster independence, and equip students for success in their chosen fields.
High School

Our high school program is designed to prepare students for success in college, careers, and life. In addition to a strong core curriculum, students choose from a wide range of electives, honors options, and unique learning opportunities that reflect their goals and interests.
Students graduate with more than a diploma—they leave with direction, confidence, and the skills to navigate their next steps.

Special Programs & Support
At Smith Collins Academy, learning goes beyond textbooks and tests. We create opportunities that prepare students not just for graduation, but for a lifetime of growth, adaptability, and global connection.
Language Immersion & Multilingual Learning

At Smith Collins, we see language as more than words—it’s a bridge to new cultures, ideas, and opportunities. While English is our core language of instruction, students also have the chance to explore other languages such as French, Arabic, and more. Beginners start with foundational courses, then, as confidence grows, can transition into fully immersive programs where subjects are taught in the new language. Whether a student dreams of studying in France, working in the Middle East, or simply connecting more deeply with the world, our language programs open doors to global possibilities.
Inclusive Education & Learning Support

Every child learns in their own way, and we celebrate those differences. Our classrooms bring together students of all abilities—those with ADHD, autism spectrum differences, or other learning needs—because we’ve seen that everyone benefits from learning alongside one another. Academic groups are tailored to each student’s pace and style, but social and enrichment activities are shared. This creates a school community where empathy grows naturally, friendships cross boundaries, and every student feels valued, supported, and ready to thrive.
